Ardalencor, at first, may seem an unfamiliar and uncharted land. To better understand the movements of people, armies, and the importance of certain places, an overview map of Ardalencor is provided. In the year prior to the outbreak of war with Tavuron and Padazar’s treason, the population of Ardalencor was determined to be around 1.5 million. This estimate was based on months of work by clerks, tax collectors, and land surveyors commissioned by Royal Treasurer Lanning Braithwaite and Court Chronicler Cadmus Quill.
The largest city remained Floriana, Ardalencor’s lone seaport. Ravalas, the capital, maintained its standing as the second most populous city. The next cities by population size were Stokesbridge, Jevatryn, and Delun.
While reduced after the land concessions to Velenharn in return for a seventeen-year peace treaty, the territory of Ardalencor was surveyed at more than 85,000 square miles.
